S-Tier: The Essentials
Shadow
+Pace, +Defending. Still the #1 chem style for CBs, CDMs, and fullbacks. Speed is everything in FC 26.
Hunter
+Pace, +Shooting. Essential for attackers who lack top-end speed. Transforms a slower striker like Kane into a usable threat.
A-Tier: The Playmakers
- Engine: Boosts Pace, Dribbling, and Passing. Perfect for CAMs and wingers who need to feel more responsive on the ball. The balance boost is key this year.
- Anchor: The bulky alternative to Shadow. +Pace, +Defending, +Physical. Use this on weak fullbacks or smaller CBs who need Strength to hold off Haaland.
B-Tier: Situational
- Hawk: Good for aggressive strikers who need a physical boost.
- Catalyst: Only use if you desperately need passing on a winger, but Engine is usually better.
- Finisher: Great for agile dribblers who just need better shooting stats.
Avoid These (D-Tier)
Sniper, Gladiator, Backbone. These styles do not boost Pace. In competitive play, upgrading stats without upgrading Pace puts you at a massive disadvantage.
Can't Afford Shadows?
Shadow cards can cost 5,000 coins each. Don't go broke buying consumables.
